The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), or “Ayurvedacharya,” is a professional undergraduate degree that provides a comprehensive education in integrated Indian medicine. At State Ayurvedic College, Lucknow, the curriculum is designed to master the Ashtanga Ayurveda (eight branches of Ayurveda) alongside modern medical sciences. 2. Course Duration & Structure
The BAMS program is a 5.5-year integrated course, strictly following NCISM guidelines:
