2. Course Duration & Structure
The BAMS degree is a full-time residential program spanning 5.5 years:

Academic Study (4.5 Years): Divided into three professional phases (1.5 years each).

First Prof: Subjects like Padartha Vigyan, Sanskrit, and Rachana Sharir (Anatomy).

Second Prof: Dravyaguna (Pharmacology), Roga Nidan (Pathology), and Agada Tantra.

Third Prof: Kayachikitsa (Medicine), Shalya Tantra (Surgery), and Panchakarma.

Compulsory Rotatory Internship (1 Year): A mandatory 12-month clinical training at the attached 60+ bed hospital to gain hands-on experience in various medical and surgical departments.
3. Eligibility Criteria

Age: Candidate must be at least 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year.

Academic Qualification: 10+2 (Science) from a recognized board (CHSE Odisha, CBSE, ICSE, etc.).

Core Subjects: Mandatory pass in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) with English.

Minimum Marks: At least 50% aggregate in PCB for General category (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Odisha).

Entrance Exam: A valid qualifying score in the NEET-UG of the current academic year is mandatory.
4. Admission Process
Admission is merit-based and conducted through the centralized counseling process:
