1. Course Overview

The BAMS program at SKAMCH is designed to produce ethically grounded and clinically competent Ayurvedic physicians. The curriculum integrates the core concepts of Ayurveda—such as the Tridosha (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and Panchamahabhuta—with essential modern medical sciences including human anatomy, physiology, and pathology. 2. Course Duration & Structure

The program follows the standard national timeline of 5.5 years:

• Compulsory Rotatory Internship (1 Year): A mandatory year of hands-on clinical training at the on-campus 62-bed teaching hospital. Students gain practical experience in patient management across various departments.

• Age Limit: Must be at least 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year.

• Educational Qualification: Successful completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as core subjects.

• Minimum Marks: At least 50% aggregate in PCB (40% for reserved categories) is generally required.

• Entrance Exam: A valid qualifying score in the NEET-UG is mandatory for all applicants.
