The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), or “Ayurvedacharya,” is a professional undergraduate degree that integrates the core principles of Ashtanga Ayurveda with essential modern medical sciences. The curriculum at SGT University emphasizes evidence-based Ayurvedic practice, covering subjects like Kayachikitsa (Medicine), Shalya Tantra (Surgery), and Panchakarma (Bio-cleansing). 2. Course Duration & Structure

The BAMS program is a 5.5-year residential course, strictly adhering to NCISM guidelines:
