2. Course Duration & Structure

The BAMS program is a 5.5-year integrated course, strictly following the NCISM guidelines:

• Academic Phase: 4.5 Years of classroom instruction and advanced laboratory practicals divided into three professional phases.

• Compulsory Internship: 1 Year of mandatory rotatory residential internship. Students gain hands-on clinical experience in the college’s attached 60-bed multispecialty hospital, rotating through various specialized Ayurvedic and modern medicine departments.

3. Eligibility Criteria

Prospective candidates for the 2026-27 academic session must fulfill the following requirements:

• Academic Qualification: Passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) and English.

• Minimum Marks: At least 50% aggregate in PCB for General/EWS candidates (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Chhattisgarh).

• Entrance Exam: Mandatory qualification in NEET-UG 2026 with a valid percentile.

• Domicile: Candidates must typically hold a valid domicile of Chhattisgarh for state quota seats.
