The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) at Ideal College of Ayurved is a comprehensive professional degree that emphasizes the “Ideal” balance between traditional Vedic healing and modern medical diagnostics. Located in the serene, pollution-free environment of Palghar, the program is designed to transform students into skilled clinicians capable of treating chronic and acute conditions through natural therapies, Panchakarma, and herbal medicine.
2. Course Duration & Structure
The BAMS program at Ideal College follows the NCISM-mandated 5.5-year curriculum:

Academic Phase (4.5 Years): Students progress through professional years studying Samhita Siddhant (Basic Principles), Rachana Sharir (Anatomy), Dravyaguna (Pharmacology), and clinical subjects like Shalya Tantra (Surgery) and Kayachikitsa (Internal Medicine).

Compulsory Internship (1 Year): A 12-month mandatory rotational internship at the attached teaching hospital to gain real-world clinical experience and patient management skills.
3. Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for admission, candidates must meet the following:

Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as mandatory subjects.
