The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), or “Ayurvedacharya,” is a comprehensive professional undergraduate degree. The curriculum at Mansarovar Ayurvedic Medical College is designed to bridge the gap between classical Ayurvedic texts (Samhitas) and contemporary medical sciences. Students master the principles of Ashtanga Ayurveda alongside modern subjects such as Human Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, and Surgery. 2. Course Duration & Structure
The BAMS program is a 5.5-year residential course, strictly adhering to the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) guidelines:
